The Internet Marketing Sales Funnel

Guys I have had a few questions relating to this from students and colleagues who have just joined the industry or who have just been confused for some time.

The Sales Funnel is the Sequence of how your advertising comes together. Without this sequence things won't make sense and you'll be sitting there confused and frustrated.

So here goes.....a little flow chart to help..

Social Media (like chat sites/blogs) --->Squeeze Page/Capture Page--->Sales Page

Social Media

Your social media sites should in someway point your readers or viewers to your Squeeze Page. Your social media should talk about the issues related to your squeeze page, for example...if your squeeze page is about your home business opportunity then add a link in social media to this squeeze page and discuss content specific to home business.

Squeeze Page

This is simply a page that allows your readers to request more information about your business and is the key to ensuring your advertising is spam compliant. None of us like receiving unsolicited emails trying to sell us something so make sure use the squeeze page (also known as a capture page) for its intended purpose.

Sales Page

This is where a reader or viewer will get all the detailed information they need about your business. This could be a personal web site or your company web site. Feel free to point them in the direction of some of the criticial questions people like to know up front ie How much is this going to cost me, don't try to hide this stuff it serves no purpose for you or your reader.

Lastlty make sure your contact details are clearly displayed so that people can get in contact with you if required.
